Take a ride through London's gorgeous parks with a bicycle renting company to see locals grabbing lunch, having a lazy reading afternoon on the lawn and children riding the carousel amongst the park grounds of Hyde Park and St. James Park.

If you're able to pop into the gardens during spring and summertime, visit the Princess Diana Memorial fountain, surrounded by gorgeous blooming flowers nearby.

Check the Changing of the Guard calendar to see if you'll be in London to catch the walking of the guards that takes place around Buckingham Palace and St. James' Place.

Grab lunch in Covent Garden to try a classic plate of Fish and Chips, a cup of pea soup and some amazing desserts at Porter's {which i actually think has been revamped and rebranded since my visit ~6ish years ago}.

On another note: Don't do the Harry Potter tour that is advertised in trifold pamphlets. It is a scam :)
