I have acquired many bronzing products over the past several months. Some have turned out great and others were a bust... I thought I'd share my experiences with some of these products in hopes to liven up your skin, give you that sun-kissed glow and prep you for summertime!

Left: Bareminerals, Warmth
This bronzer came in a kit with two foundations, a brush and a pot of Well Rested. Aside from the terrible product packaging, this bronzer is a little tricky to work with. As many people may or may not know, you need to build up the coverage on Bareminerals products. This one is the perfect example of that. You really only need the tiniest ittiest bit to make you look like you've gone from Irish to Colombian in less than 2 minutes. This bronzer is suitable for those with a darker complexion and is great for all-over color.
Right: Bareminerals, A Little Sun
I purchased this product during Ulta's crazy April sale where everything had an awesome deal. I watched so many videos and researched so many different pictures and tutorials before deciding on this color. I have a light/medium olive complexion and this color is great for my shade and is best worn as a sun-kissed look, meaning on the apples of the cheeks and a bit on the nose. It has a really subtle pink tone and a lot of shimmer, which is why I don't recommend this for your forehead or for contouring.

Physician's Formula: Bronze Booster Glow-Boosting-Season-to-Season Bronzer
This was a miss for me. It might be that my complexion is too dark, but even in my whitest winter shade, I could not get any color from the compact to my face. No matter how many times I've built it up, forgotten about it and then came back to it, I just can't make peace with this bronzer. Miss!

If I showed you my Tarte Amazonian Clay bronzer, you'd be staring at an empty pan. I've used this sucker to death! Great for my complexion, I highly appreciated the bronzing highlight on my cheekbones, but the only con is how quickly this runs out. I felt that every time I would dip my brush, I attracted so much product which ended up dissipating into the air or getting tapped off with my brush. Overall, I love it for a -Stick-in-your-purse makeup hit!

Hit. All the way. Hit. Hit. Hit. This Too Faced Soleil Matte Bronzer is the perfect shade for my, and universally, anyone's complexion. You barely need half of a brush-tap and it blends so well and, of course, smells phenomenal! My mind is exploding with good things to say about this product. Hit!

Bareminerals Bareskin Sheer Sun Serum Bronzer
This tiny sampler came in my 500 point box from Sephora and I have to say I'm a little disappointed in this product. Maybe my skin is too dark but once having applied onto my cheeks, it kind of just disappears. I think I need to spend more time building up the color and mixing it with my foundation. I think it would be more suitable for someone with a lighter complexion. I did not notice a scent and it did blend pretty well though!

Tarte Maracuja Bronzing Serum
This serum bottle comes with a dropper and one of the most foul smells ever. I keep thinking it smells like fish... I did not like this product, I didn't see any bronzing results after trying this for several weeks. I was just left with a smelly bathroom and pale, un-bronzed skin. Miss!
