COFFEE HOUSE DREAMIN

I love unique little shops and cafes. I take a lot of my blog photos in downtown areas like these and Graham's Fine Chocolates and Ice Cream in Geneva, IL is a must visit place if you live in the area! There are bistro seats in the foyer of the old house with a full window area to watch them make the chocolates. They have ice cream and hand crafted chocolates. The entire house is so charming with chandeliers, a grand staircase and shelves stocked with marzipan, bars, and tiny treats in glass jars. Definitely check out their new, online shop! Their sister Coffee House was also voted #5 on People Magazine's 24 BEST coffee shops to visit in the midwest! Congrats to them!

In this look I'm wearing my infamous tweed and gold threaded shorts, a rayon-black top from Maurice's and my newest, favorite necklace from The Dandy Lion Boutique! Have you ever seen the movie Atlantis? I was so obsessed with it that when I saw these gorgeous necklaces I knew I had to live out my childhood dream and purchase one! The quality is awesome, the chain gives off a great reflection in the light and the stone isn't too heavy on my neck. Although the clear version is unavailable, I was able to find the pink one here!

As for my shoes, these are probably my favorite sandals that I've purchased all year. I've been obsessed with wedges and these are the perfect pair for walking long distances or going to events, date nights, you name it. I was able to find the exact pair here! I actaully ordered them online and it was a great guess - my feet are shaped crazy weird but I got super lucky with these.
